We searched the internet for what we feel is the best value out there for paintballers like you, and this post's winner is…the Syndicate Misfit paintball gun. We based our decision off of the gun's features and price (only $85 shipped). The Misfit has them both hands down. i bought one of these in 2005 when they first came out (cost me 240 then)
i basically converted my misfit into a spyder clone suince it uses spyder threads. my setup: black misfit, 14″ stiffi barrel, reloader b, delrin acs bolt, and i still use co2 with it.

These guns really are a great deal. $85 SHIPPED for an all metal gun. These came out in 04, not 05 mikey.
But, what’s great is that the Misfit accepts almost every Spyder upgrade out there (it’s like 98% compatible). Bolts, barrels, feed neck, whatever.

Ok, i’m a noob. I bought one of these for my son and one for myself for this Christmas. From what I have read a spring kit is a highly recommended upgrade, but which kit? Shocktech or 32 Degrees? Any other recommends or tips for first timers?

Bought a misfit but was wondering if anyone could suggest a battery charger that will fit it. Will a Kingman or Spyder Java battery & charger work? I have a 98 custom with a flatline and wanted to have a electronic but I’m with Nakkii, suggested upgrades would be helpful. I bought a delrin bolt from Rebel Paintball and was going to pair it with an Ricochet Apache loader.

I bought this gun but there is no way to send this gun for repair, since the company cannot be reached (website, email, phone lines disconnected) There is also no proof of warranty sent in the box, as i bought this gun. They released a battery charger and battery but I can’t find them as they are probably sitting in a liquidation warehouse somewhere.
Otherwise than the above, this gun is great. The Gun has a slight curve, but that can be fixed with buying a better barrel.
Does anyone know what spring kit is compatible with the Syndicate Misfit? Please post in a comment what spring kit is.
I’ll be adding to this post with some popular upgrades for the Misfit.
Logic Man - I would have to assume that Spyder’s charger will work. I have a generic charger that came with mine way back in 2004. This one looks like the one i have, only mine is 117v.

32 Degrees and Shocktech have Spyder Spring Kits that should work on the Misfit. Also check out the Bandit Bolt. I think everything but the valve was cloned after the spyder.
Any Spyder spring kit will work for this gun, don’t be alarmed if the spring kit’s springs are shorter, i replaced mine with one and it works amazingly. This gun is a spyder clone although not all spyder upgrades are compatible. I know that triggers and electronic boards are not easy to come by, although there are a few, but be sure to do some research before you purchase! This is a great gun, as I just purchased one, but with good care and maintenance, you really won’t need to have to worry about the company being extinct.
i have a a pretty new tippmann 98 custom pro with a 20″ sniper barrel… im gettin a team together and i think i will need a better gun for a team… een though tippmanns are pretty much un-breakable i need to get guns for my team and i was looking at this gun which is really cheap but i need it in gold/orange if you get any of thos leme know

I am new to paintball and as i looked i saw this. I have read many reviews, and to me it looks pretty good. I am just wondering if the 16 bps is fast enough still considering that this was made in ‘04. I really would like some feedback!
