Tiberius 8 Paintball Pistol, One of the Sickest

PaintballGuns.net is currently attending the Paintball Extravaganza tradeshow for business owners in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is filled with exhibitors, both small and large, strutting off their products. While browsing through the exhibits, the Tiberius booth caught my eye out of all the rest. The Tiberius 8 (formerly known as the TAC8 and TAG8) is the first paintball pistol to be magazine fed and use .68 caliber paintballs. It uses 12 gram CO2 cartridges, which can be bought for roughly 89 cents each. The magazine holds a total of 8 paintballs (8 shots, 8 kills ). For those wondering what the air efficiency is like, you can go through roughly 3 magazines (or 24 shots) before you need to replace the CO2 cartridge.

Paintball pistols in general may not seem very ideal or logical for the average paintball player. But, keep in mind that it's not always about how fast you can shoot or how many times you can bonus ball your opponents (or teammates). A lot of the adrenaline and overall fun that you experience in the game of paintball comes from the method of eliminating your opponents. In other words, isn't rushing down the field and bunkering your best friend a little more rewarding than simply shooting them 100 feet away? Of course. Some players like using pistols in their games simply because they like being able to say they pistol'ed their best friend in the back of the head with only one shot left. It's fun to pistol someone... it doesn't get any simpler than that.

Regardless of your personal views on the validity of paintball pistols being used on the field, the Tiberius 8 paintball pistol has been highly acclaimed as one of the best paintball pistols in the sport. I'm not a pistol guy myself (I prefer shooting strings of paint), but after handling the pistol myself, I can vouch for its excellent performance and slick design.    Dude, when you see your opponent hiding behind a bunker, and you pull out the pistol and run up on’m…. There’s no better feeling than to stand over’m and take a shot or make’m surrender and grab him as your shield!!!

   P.S.. By far the best Pistol made… I recommend you buy extra magazine’s. It’ll come in handy.
