![]() N2 or HPA is much more stable. Nitrogen starts in a gas form and stays in a gas form throughout its entire cycle inside your ION. Nitrogen doesn't get cold, basically, and cannot harm your gun.
Co2, on the other hand, is liquid that turns into gas inside your expansion chamber when you shoot your gun. The faster you pull the trigger on your gun the colder your tank gets. At some point most guns will end up sucking in liquid CO2. This will cause things to freeze inside your gun which will cause your gun to stop working for a short period of time. In some instances this can cause damage to o-rings. In most cases CO2 works ok, but if temperatures are below 50 degrees you can expect to have some problems with things freezing up. Short Answer is Nitrogen. |
