![]() Go to your local proshop, Walmart, or paintball field.
Spyder Imagines, Spyder Victors, Tippmann Custom 98's, etc are all great beginner guns. Get a Spyder(electrics are very cheap nowadays), Co2 can(9oz, 12oz, or 20oz), and a loader. Most places, even Walmart, will sell starter packages. Get anything that's a Spyder or Tippmann. I wouldn't put money into a JT, Gameface, Piranha, or Brass Eagle gun. Spyder's and Tippmann's are more popular and tried and true. Therefore, you can pretty much relate to many of the other new paintballers out there when you're owning a Spyder or Tippmann. Electronic Spyders at ActionVillage.com : Paintball Electro Spyder Page ^^^ *electros are faster, have more modes, etc. But will need batteries. Good for playing speedball. Woodsballs is compatible as well, but get a color that doesn't stand out if you want to use it for woodsball more(don't get like a bright blue when you could get black). Semi-Auto Spyders at ActionVillage.com : Paintball Mech Spyder Page ^^^ *mechs are typically a mechanical gun, running off no circuit boards, but very simple and reliable, and don't need batteries. Get a darker, less glossy color if you plan to play only woods. That way you don't stand out. Tippmann Paintball Gun Packages at ActionVillage.com : Paintball Tippmann ^^^ *Tippmanns may be more expensive, but holy crap, they last you forever. They can take major beatings, and are great guns. They are great all around guns, and will never need any maintenance. If they ever do, it's very very little.
