POST ITEMS IN THE APPROPRIATE SUBFORUM
FAILURE TO FOLLOW RULES= INFRACTION, DELETION OF THREAD, OR LOCKING OF THREAD. BASED ON MOD/ADMIN DISCRETION.
PLEASE DO NOT POST THE BREAKING OF THE RULES IN A USERS THREAD. PM A MOD/ADMIN OR REPORT THE POST WITH A VERY SPECIFIC REASON WHY!
1. Post a Price. Every post must have a price, whether it's OBO, $1,000,000 or not. If the thread is strict WTT(want to trade), then you do not need a price, but be sure you specify it! It is recommended that WTB threads also have your desired price listed, though it is not required.
2. No Auctions or links to them. There's ebay for a reason. Don't go asking people to bid. List the price as OBO if you must. Ebay auction have large audiences on ebay. Your auction audience isn't here, but on Ebay instead. No links leading to ebay!
3. Post Pictures if you can. Post some! You are more likely to get buyers by posting pictures and/or video. It is not required, because we all understand that not everyone has a camera. But if you have a picture phone or a digital camera, or if a friend has one, or if you can print some on a disposable camera and scan it to your computer, it's highly recommended. 4. No spamming/hijacking threads. Do not go post that you're selling something for a lower price, or that a person's price sucks. The lack of business will tell him that it's too high if he/she is smart enough. If you want to sell something, PM the guy or make your own thread, but do not gamble someone's ability to sell. ALSO, do not just go post random crap in someone thread, or "doubt" if a thread is real. If you aren't contributing to the user's thread by upping his thread or making an offer or saying you wish you could buy it, then don't post. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INFRACTION FOR FLAMING AND THEN SAYING, "free up" or something of the sort afterwards to cover it up.
5. One up per 8 hours.One up per 8 hours, that's pretty explanatory. Upping within 7hrs and 30min of the last up is understandable. As long as it's reasonable(within 7hr+ of the last post), it's ok. Other threads may be locked, or the post deleted. If someone asks you a question, edit the answer appropriately into your original post, and PM the answer to the poster. Don't up crazily, let the market deem what is valuable. If somethings to expensive, people won't buy. Don't keep upping every hour. Since you are allowed 1 up per 8 hours, this does not mean you have 3 ups to use per day(24 hrs divided by 8 per hour= 3 ups per day). What I mean is don't go doing 3 ups within an hour of each other.
6. Only post items that you physically have in your possesion. Don't say an item is being shipped back to you or that you are ordering it at the moment. Have it in your hand, just as you expect a buyer to have cash in his hand.
7. Do not thank your free ups, or start conversations.Thanking friends and starting conversations are PM related, and count as free ups every post you have.
8. No illegal items! You are not allowed to sell any sort of real firearms, weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, etc. This includes stuff that must be bought at certain ages-- cigarettes, weapons, tasers, etc.
9. No advertising sales. This includes stuff like saying, "selling Apple iPhones for $100." I'm sure spammers don't look at rules, so please report the post(include the post number and be descriptive).
10. Beware. Paintballguns.net is not responsible for your loss or anything on this forum involving the B/S/T section. If you get scammed, we are not responsible, neither if you get ripped off.
11. Involving thread titles. Be specific in them. Don't just say "look here." Instead, say "Marq 6 for sale, f/s/t!" Also, NO PROFANITY IN THREAD TITLES. This includes censoring it yourself. None of that $%*& stuff either.
12. Do not flame in threads. That is pretty self explanatory. Take arguments to PM, and report flaming posts.
13. No counterfeit items. This includes bootleg DVD's, fake Rolex's, etc.
14. Make one thread for multiple items. Make one thread for multiple items if you can. Don't make 1 for your mask, 1 for your pod pack, 1 for your jersey, etc. If you want to separate your gear from guns, go ahead. In short: group like items together. Guns in one thread and other gear together.
15. If you get scammed, please inform the forum publicly! But, of course, please view the thread about not getting scammed. Located here:
